120 pTRACK modules in the field at the Czech Police exercise in VVP Doupov

  • News

In the week between the 24th and 28th of July, a large simulated exercise took place in VVP Doupov, which was attended by police units from 14 regional directorates, special police units, cynologists, hippologists and colleagues from the Air Service of the Police of the Czech Republic. 120 pTRACK modules were used in this exercise, which allowed the command to monitor the exact location of almost all units involved in the exercises in the field from the mobile operations, communication and monitoring centre JUPITER. The pTRACK modules tracked the movement of the swarm, task forces, ATVs, dog handlers and hippologists (horseback riders). pTRACK thus provided commanders with an effective overview of the exact location of active units in the field, which, combined with an aerial view from helicopters and drones, allowed commanders to coordinate units and better allocate forces and resources.
