REDBAC P Tracker app
The REDBAC P Tracker app has been developed specifically for use with the pTRACK system in the field, the user can use this app to track their location on a mobile device and use the limited functionality of the MOBILITY Client software. The application connects via a network connection (GSM, LTE, or otherwise) to a central server where all data regarding the locations and settings of individual devices are sent and stored, including historical records or whitelists/blacklists.
However, without a signal, it provides basic limited functionality, with the possibility to upload position data to the server later. However, with the pTRACK system modules it is possible to force a Bluetooth connection in case of GSM signal loss and thus temporarily (until the signal is restored) send position information directly to the smartphone. The application also allows for training purposes to connect the user to the so-called “no login” mode (outside of direct connection to the server).
Basic features of the REDBAC P Tracker application:
– Display of module positions on 3D online/offline map base;
– Join a search action – based on the available search action and assigned area, the user can join and track the active location of themselves and other unit members;
– Viewing the finds on a 3D online/offline map;
– Color resolution of teams and assigned sectors;
– Ability to continue without logging in for training purposes;
– Automatic system updates;
– Display of diagnostic data of connected modules;
– Ability to use basic application functions without logging in; (training purposes)
– Android OS version available;
– Support for map backgrounds for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Poland; (*Possibility to add more)
– Support for language versions in Czech, English, and Ukrainian; (*Add more)
Online/Offline localization
Offline maps in combination with a direct connection to the pTRACK module via Bluetooth allow the user to see their location even where there is no GSM signal.
No log in mode
The ability to use the application for training purposes in a mode without logging into a secure server.
Data security
Automated process of collecting positional data from active modules including recording of findings.
